Ashley McClellan
Chief Executive Officer
Ashley McClellan is Chief Executive Officer at Medical Center of Lewisville. Ms. McClellan served as the hospital’s Chief Operating Officer from 2008 until her appointment as CEO in December 2011. While at Lewisville, Ms. McClellan was instrumental in designing the first freestanding emergency department with an attached outpatient imaging center in North Texas, Flower Mound Emergency Center. She also has played an integral role in increasing employee engagement to be in HCA’s Top 10%, decreasing Emergency Department turnaround times and supported the organization in pursuing many recent accreditations such as Joint Commission Disease Specific Certifications for Total Hip, Total Knee and Inpatient Diabetes.
Ms. McClellan is a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives and earned her BBA in Finance from SMU Cox School of Business, and both her MBA and MHA from Texas Women’s University. In 2010, Ms. McClellan was honored in Dallas Business Journal’s annual 40 Under Forty issue and was awarded the 2011 Young Healthcare Executive of the Year award from the Dallas/Fort Worth Hospital Council.
Currently, Ms. McClellan serves on the Alumni Board for Southern Methodist University Cox School of Business and the SMU Young Alumni Board, as well as the Flower Mound Chamber of Commerce. Ms. McClellan enjoys giving back to the community and is a member of the Flower Mound Rotary, Leadership Flower Mound Class of 2009, and is a wish granter for the North Texas Make-A-Wish Foundation helping to coordinate and fulfill wish requests for children with life-threatening medical conditions. She enjoys cooking and entertaining friends and family.
Jim Russell
Chief Operating Officer
Jim Russell joined Medical Center of Lewisville as Chief Operating Officer in March of 2012. He was born and raised in the North Texas area. Prior to joining the MCL team, Jim worked at Denton Regional Medical Center as the Associate Administrator & Vice President of Procedural Services. He has over 17 years of progressive experience as a Registered Nurse and acute-care clinical and operations leader. His clinical experience is in Surgical and Procedural Services where he has been successful in building and growing volumes in areas such as Cardiac, Vascular, Orthopedic, and General surgery. He was also instrumental in obtaining a Trauma designation from the State of Texas for Denton Regional Medical Center. He has a passion for improving patient satisfaction and safety and enjoys hospital construction and renovation projects. Jim has most recently served as the United Way of Denton County’s Medical Committee co-chairperson and will next be serving with the Lewisville Chamber of Commerce.
Jim received his Associate Degree in Nursing from North Central Texas College, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master’s in Business Administration from Texas Woman’s University. He enjoys sports, especially football, and spending time with his wife and four children.

Lynn O'Neill
Vice President, Chief Nursing Officer
Lynn O’Neill joined the Medical Center of Lewisville as Chief Nursing Officer in December 2005. Prior to joining MCL, Ms. O’Neill was the Executive Director and Chief Nurse at The University of Chicago Comer Children’s Hospital. She has more than 27 years in progressive nursing leadership positions. She has clinical experience in pediatric inpatient and outpatient care and services, including community health and did most of her bedside experience taking care of sick infants and their families. Ms. O’Neill has been a presenter at local, national and international levels on such topics as Family-Centered Care in the NICU and how to develop a Family Advisory Board. Ms. O’Neill is currently the President of the Board at Pediplace, a local clinic that serves the uninsured and under-insured children in Denton county and surrounding counties.
Ms. O’Neill received a Diploma in Nursing from South Chicago Community Hospital School of Nursing, a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Purdue University and a Master’s in Business from Keller Graduate School of Management. Ms. O’Neill is certified in Executive Administration by the American Nurses Credentialing Center and is a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives.
Ms. O’Neill has two grown sons who also work in healthcare, one as a nurse and one as the manager of environmental services. Her hobbies include racquetball, biking, water sports, gardening and traveling.

Lisa Brodbeck
Vice President, Chief Financial Officer
Lisa Brodbeck is Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Medical Center of Lewisville. She is also the organization’s Ethics and Compliance Officer. Ms. Brodbeck was born and raised in Charleston, West Virginia. She attended college at David Lipscomb University in Nashville, Tennessee and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting in 1980. Upon graduation, she attended Tennessee Technological University in Cookeville, Tennessee and received a Masters in Business Administration in 1981.
Ms. Brodbeck began working for Hospital Corporation of America (HCA) in February 1982 as a staff internal auditor. In 1984 she moved to Statesville, North Carolina to assume an Assistant Controller position in a new replacement facility that HCA had just completed. From there, she held a Controller position in HCA’s hospital in Bedford, Texas and in 1988 she assumed her first CFO position for a hospital that had just spun off from HCA to HealthTrust, Inc. Ms. Brodbeck worked for HealthTrust at Medical Center Lancaster until 1996 and briefly assumed the HCA North Texas Division Controller position until early 1997 when she joined the staff at Medical Center of Lewisville as Chief Financial Officer. Ms. Brodbeck is a scuba diving enthusiast, as well as watching English show jumping equestrian riders.
Sue Cobb
Vice President of Quality
Sue Cobb is the Vice-President Quality here at Medical Center of Lewisville. Sue has been with MCL for 26+ years. Sue obtained her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from Baylor University and her Master’s of Business Administration from TWU. She belongs to the American Organization of Nurse Executives and has her national certification in Nursing Administration. Sue is married to Jerry and combined have 4 sons, 3 daughters-in-law and 6 grandchildren. In addition to the family, Sue has 2 dogs and 3 cats. Sue’s passions are faith, family, friends, and nursing. She enjoys redecorating and music.

Dara Biegert
Assistant Vice President, Human Resources
Dara Biegert joined Medical Center of Lewisville in September of 2008 and serves as the Assistant Vice President of Human Resources. She oversees daily operations of the Human Resources department as well as many Human Resources related initiatives. Ms. Biegert received her Bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University and has more than 20 years of hospital human resources management experience. She is currently working on a Masters in Business Administration. Prior to coming to Medical Center of Lewisville Ms. Biegert led the Human Resources department for UT Southwestern Medical Center Hospitals in Dallas.
Ms. Biegert is originally from Houston, Texas and has been in the Dallas / Fort Worth area for 15 years. She is an active volunteer with local community theatre. Additional hobbies include sewing and scrapbooking.
Victoria Barney
Assistant Vice President, Medical Staff Development
Victoria Barney joined Medical Center of Lewisville as the AVP of Medical Staff Development in November 2012. Victoria has spent over 25 years developing relationships with physicians by serving many facets of both their personal and professional needs including recruitment, practice start-up and business development activities. Victoria has gained extensive experience with physicians in a variety of hospital settings: non-profit at BUMC; rural for-profit in her home town of Ennis; and larger for-profit with Tenet and HCA. Victoria has over 10 years’ experience as a Medical Staff Services Director; she served HCA in that position at The Medical Center of Plano prior to transferring to MCL.
In May 2005, Victoria graduated magna cum laude with a BAS in Business from Dallas Baptist University and went on to complete her long-term educational goal by earning a MBA in Health Care Management at DBU in December 2007. Victoria is on the Board of Directors of two professional organizations: the Texas Society for Medical Services Specialists, and Medical Staff Professionals of Fort Worth - Dallas. Victoria is a member of National Association Medical Staff Services (NAMSS) and the American College of Healthcare Executives. She received certification from NAMSS as a Certified Professional Credentialing Specialist in 2006.
Victoria and her husband live on 30 acres northeast of Allen that overlooks Lake Lavon. They have a 12-year-old daughter and two adult children. Victoria enjoys being active and spending time with her family outdoors; her favorite places to visit include the beach and warm weather.
